How long will it take me to start speaking?
You’ll begin speaking in your very first lesson. We’ll meet you where you are and build your speaking skills step by step, focusing on real, useful language that fits your goals.
What materials do I need for the lessons?
All you need to bring is yourself, a positive mindset, and a readiness to learn. If you have your own materials that you’d like to use, feel free to bring them along. Otherwise, I’ll provide everything you need.
How do online lessons work?
Online lessons are held via Google Meet. Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a link right away—no stress. Your lesson will appear in my calendar instantly, so when it's time, just click the link and we're good to go.
Do you take group or in-person classes?
I’m happy to teach small groups of up to three students if you have friends or family you would like to learn with. Please feel free to reach out via email for more details and a special rate. At the moment, I only offer in-person sessions for workplace teams and organisations.

Yes, I offer a number of different workshops for London-based businesses, from language lessons to hands-on cultural experiences such as dumpling making. Sessions are tailored to suit your industry and scheduling needs, and can be delivered as one-off team-building events or as part of a broader learning initiative. Do you use Jyutping or Yale?
I primarily teach using Jyutping, but I can also use Yale if that’s what you prefer. To be honest, once you’re familiar with the sounds and tones of Cantonese, the choice of romanisation matters less. Both systems are widely respected, and at a certain point, your ability to speak and understand will be what truly counts.
